A warm welcome awaits you from Phil and the team at this beautiful country pub, famed for it's real ales and twice winner of CAMRA's esteemed National Pub of the Year Award.

Our aim is to provide the best atmosphere, refreshments and service in the area for you, your friends and family.

We boast a beautiful cottage-style front garden and have an extensive outdoor space to the rear for you to relax in during the spring and summer, enjoy a glass of something cold and have a bite to eat too. If the mood takes you, we have a full-sized pétanque piste available for customers to use and our own teams should you wish to take your game further. When the weather turns colder, inside becomes really cosy with two open fires and a woodburner to take the chill off.

Our annual Summer Cider and Summer Beer Festivals are well known and attract visitors from across the county.  With over 40 real ales and 30+ ciders available during these events along with food and entertainment, these really are events for your diary!
