A warm welcome awaits you from Phil and the Team at this country pub, famed for it's real ales and twice winner of CAMRA's esteemed National Pub of the Year Award.

Our aim is to provide the best atmosphere, refreshments and service in the area for you, your friends and family.

We have extensive outdoor space to relax in for you to enjoy a glass of something cold and maybe a bite to eat too. If the mood takes you, we have a full-sized pétanque piste available for customers to use and our own team should you wish to take your game further. When the weather turns colder, inside we have two open fires and a woodburner to take the chill off.

Well behaved dogs with responsible owners are welcome.

Our annual week-long Summer Beer Festival held in June is well known and attracts visitors from across the county.  With over 70 real ales and 20+ ciders available during the week along with food and entertainment, it really is an event for your diary!
